The CDP4A mk2 uses a completely new digital filter which keeps pulse waveform distortion at a very low level.
The new digital filter gives the listener an even higher
resolution and detailed sound and it has lower distortion than before. The new CDP4A mk2 will give the listener improved pinpointing of instruments and a smoother midrange and treble.

The left control button does, in addition to being the On/Off button, allow you to navigate between the different tracks on the CD. The right button opens and closes the CD tray, as well as starting and stopping the playback. It is ultimately easy to operate, and fits beautifully with the other HEGELŪ system components.
On it's advanced surface mounted audio board, the player has true balanced multilevel 24 bit 352 kHz DACs with synchronous upsampling.
CDP4A mk2 has both digital and analog outputs for different types of connectors. The transformer balanced digital output is perfect for use with an external DA-converter, a MiniDisc-player, or for music data transfer to a computer or CD-recorder.
The CDP4A mk2 can be used with any type of music system, but to fully take advantage of HEGELŪ's revolutionary music reproduction, we recommend that you use our CDP4A mk2 in combination with our amplifiers and preamplifiers
The difference between the CDP4A mk2 and CDP2A mk2
The CDP4A mk2 is using a much more advanced audio board than the CDP2A mk2 with even more precise components and a more complex power supply.
The CDP4A mk2 is also using the completely new and very precise HEGELŪ SuperClock 2 with an extremely low jitter level.
Altogether the CDP4A mk2 will have a larger dynamic range, a lower colouration and an even better output drive than the CDP2A mk2.
