DESIGNe has empowered the GT1 Series Loudspeakers with innovative next generation design features. Each satellite loudspeaker has been designed to be integrated with it’s own bass enhancer loudspeaker. The four-loudspeaker set generates a striking and harmonious sonic quality.
If the bass, mid-range and tweeter units were housed (unshielded) within the same structure, their frequencies would produce distorting effects on each other. A single sub bass unit often results in the bass element sounding disconnected from the main body of the music, with both channels competing for the services of one bass element. The independent bass units are driven in tandem with their midrange and tweeter units. They are connected by the exclusively designed crossover units. This innovative bass enhancer arrangement removes the inadequacies of conventional single sub-woofer designs. The result is a much more cohesive and organic sound, which more faithfully reproduces the full sound picture with greater colour, nuance and detail. It also creates a more aesthetically symmetrical quality to the speaker set, enabling a
more balanced and comprehensive feel to be created in a room.
